Draw the outline of a person on a piece of paper so it looks something like this: 

Work with a partner. One person write BOY on their person and the other write GIRL. Now take 2 minutes and write down all the words associated with being a BOY or a GIRL. You can refer to things like colours, toys, haircuts, clothing and emotions. 

After your two minutes is up, share your ideas. Circle anything you have that is the SAME. For example, if you both wrote down that GREEN is a colour associated with both genders, circle it.
