We are surrounded by amazing objects, shapes and colours every day. Sometimes we don’t even notice them because they’re always there, or we’re just too busy playing. Take some time to notice and then using our imagination and our bodies, let’s see what we can become!
Creativity | Play | Social-awareness
Imagine you had a brand new super-duper sports car that required a lot of looking after. What would happen if you filled it with Sprite? How far would it go? Now imagine your body was a high-performance machine like that – how would you treat it? Would you take care of it as much as the car?
Health | Wellbeing | Habits
This module asks pupils to make considered decisions about various characters and situations. The improvisation within this module allows pupils the chance to think on their feet and take leadership over their own words and actions while listening and responding to their teammates.
Creativity | Communication | Confidence
This module focuses on perspective and that we each have a different view on pretty much everything. Through tasks where images are to be described, children are encouraged to understand that it is our own knowledge and personal experiences that help us form our opinions and our perspectives.
Perspective | Compassion | Listening skills
Have you ever noticed the difference in the size of the rearview mirror of a car vs. the size of a windscreen? By constantly reminding ourselves of past failures, negative feedback or what we think we fear, we are driving through life as if we’re only using the rearview mirror… So what can we do to make sure we look ahead and use the windscreen instead?
Mindset | Perspective | Confidence
Creativity is a skill that serves us well in many situations, and the magic really happens when you combine it with some first class attention and decision making skills. Join us for a game of Late to the Meeting and put your skills to the test.
Creativity | Attention | Decision Making
The module draws a clear connection between how the child ‘sees’ themselves compared to how they ‘see’ others who are scientists by occupation.
By broadening the child’s understanding of what it means to be a scientist (and the various areas in which they work) the teacher can start to dispel any myths or stereotypes about scientists.
Aspirations | Strengths | Career Planning
This module focuses on the link between a growth mindset and creating healthy habits. It connects the wellbeing of our body and mind to the daily choices we make.
By developing the idea of becoming BIONIC (Believe It Or Not I Can…) the child is able to identify and set a goal for themselves relating to some basic (but important) health choices.
Building good habits | Developing Healthy Choices | Personal Goal setting
Success leaves clues! Why stare at a blank page when someone already drew a map? Often we think we need to come up with all the ideas and figure out how to get where we want to go on our own. That’s pretty scary and can leave us feeling too overwhelmed to even try! But here’s a secret: all you need to do is follow the leader! Let’s become today’s Sherlock Holmes and find the trail that led to our hero’s success!!
Leadership | Followership | Success
Asking for advice can be difficult but getting help is all about being responsible, to yourself. In this module pupils are asked to use improvisation skills while looking at a problem from different angles and adding an imaginative twist to the solutions.
Creativity | Communication | Courage
The human mind is designed to think 80% negative thoughts and only 20% positive. Distractions, limiting beliefs, self-doubt and negative emotions often stalls our progress. Learn how to interrupt a negative thought pattern and steer your young people back on course.
Wellbeing | Focus | Positivity
