In Andrew’s story there was three pupils, we will call them A, B and C.
A was the pupil who attended choir. B pointed at them and said “see them, they go to choir!”. C responded by saying “So”.
In small groups, take 5 minutes to think about the following questions:
- How do you think A felt when B pointed at them and said “see them, they go to choir!”
- How do you think A felt when C said “So”
- How do you think B felt when C said “So”
- Can you think of any other situations where you could say “so”, or something similar, to support a friend?
Once you have shared your thoughts as a class, you could discuss ways in which you can ensure you that your class is always supportive of everyone and their interests.
