The Great P7/Y6 Write-Off
Now you have had time to reflect on Primary School, and think about your move to Big School, what we would like you to do, is create a text that sums up what it feels like to be a pupil on the verge of High School.
The text can be any style that you like – and we want you to be as creative as possible!
So, you can write a poem, a news report, a haiku, a story, a song – whatever you like!
However, to add an element of challenge, why don’t you try to write a piece that contains a maximum of 77 words, this means is should also fit on one side of A4 paper.
So, use your 77 words wisely to sum up the emotions and the excitement of moving up to Big School!
Here are two pieces that were written by pupils for our live event in June!
If you do manage to write a great piece, we would love to see it! So, teachers, please feel free to send us photos of your work on X – and let us know if you’ve enjoyed the Big School lesson.
Good Luck!
