Scoring: First of all there is no benchmark for optimism/pessimism, but this scale gives you a good idea of where your natural responses might lie.
Add up your score for questions 1, 4, and 10 this will give you a score for optimism
- Score 1-6 low
- Score 7-11 average
- Score 12-15 high
Add up your score for question 3, 7, and 9 this will give you a score for pessimism

Ignore the rest… they are just there as fillers and to stop you from trying to second guess the questions.
