It shouldn’t be a great surprise, but nerves and anxiety in high doses can have a negative impact on our performance. Whilst you maybe haven’t had the exact same experience as Stuart and his Physics exam (he assures he got an A in the end), it’s more than likely you’ve had moments where you get that sick feeling in your stomach, your legs go weak and you stumble over your words.

It is completely normal to be nervous before exams. They’re a big deal and are typically play a big part towards your next steps in life. Exam life is all about how to handle pressure in a healthy manner that is productive and most importantly, effective. Many people experience stress or anxiety before exams but when it becomes so excessive that it interferes with performance on an exam, it’s known as test anxiety. So, what do you do if you get nervous before exams? We want to help you prepare for your exams without feeling nervous or stressed.
