Write a short letter to your local council stating why your town or location should welcome refugees. Your letter should cover the following success criteria:
- Explain the reasons why refugees have come to the UK
- Explain the 1951 law which allows them to do this (this was mentioned in the second video)
- Explain why you think it would be a good idea to welcome refugee children to your school
