Back by popular demand, the Tree of Knowledge team, in partnership with eSgoil (part of Education Scotland’s National e-Learning Offer), are excited to welcome over 40,000 P7’s to the second annual LIVE “We’re Aff Tae The Big School” celebration on Wednesday 21st June at 1.15pm!
Designed to gather every P7 in Scotland, the event aims to inspire them, and send them on the way to the big school with a fire in their bellies. Sign-up here for FREE!

FREE TRANSITION LESSON
This year, to further support your young people through transition, we’ve launched a transition Lesson on our Treehouse platform.
This FREE interactive 30-minute lesson, with videos, and activities will get young people reflecting on their experience at Primary school and looking ahead to Secondary. Click here to ACCESS THE LESSON!

P7 TRANSITION COMPETITION
The lesson culminates in the launch of our #TOKBIGSCHOOL23 competition; The GREAT #P7WriteOff!
P7’s simply have to describe what it feels like to be on the verge of Big School, in just 77 words!
The text can be any style that you like – and we want you to be as creative as possible! So you can write a poem, a news report, a haiku, a story, a song – whatever you like!
You could WIN:
- The chance to have your entry read out LIVE on “We’re Aff Tae The Big School”
- Amazing prizes including:
- 1st: £250 spending spree with Love2Shop voucher + Brill Kid books for the class + Treehouse subscription for the school!
- 2nd: £100 spending spree with Love2Shop voucher
- 3rd: £50 spending spree with Love2Shop voucher
Our intention is to make this competition as easy as possible for each school to enter. Once the pupils have completed their text, we ask that you take a photo of each piece (or you can have a small competition in your class first) and send it to Tree of Knowledge via Twitter.
Please attach the photos to a tweet that includes the Twitter handles @Tree_of and @eSgoil. You must also include the hashtag #P7WriteOff – this will allow us to find entries easily.
