Staying Connected: Enhancing Wellbeing in a Hybrid World – smallTOK

What our speakers say

“Whether we embrace or resent them, video calls remote and hybrid working have become a long term part of our lives. This reality demands that we cultivate new communication skills to nurture each other in the digital realm. This course provides a platform to delve into not just the ‘what’ but the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of effective communication in virtual and hybrid environments. There’s no magic formula; it’s about returning to basics and asking the right questions.”

Synopsis

Communication transcends mere words; it encompasses micro-expressions, body language, and tone of voice. It’s the intangible feeling that arises from connecting with another person. As the COVID pandemic unfolded, we found ourselves confined to digital screens, where many of these vital communication cues are harder to discern. Now in a post COVID Era, with the working environment permanently altered it’s time to align our communication skills with the world we operate in. Navigating virtual connectivity requires breaking free from this confinement, posing meaningful questions, and fostering opportunities for genuine relationship building.
