There’s an awful lot written about motivation and yes, a lot of it is awful! It doesn’t have to be overly complicated. Sometimes you just need to take some time and think about yourself and what makes you, you.

Take the next 10 minutes (or however long you need) to answer the following questions.

What are you good at?

What are you great at?

What are the things that you find effortless?

What (and/or who) gives you energy?

Reflecting on the questions above, what are your strengths? (If you can’t think of any, change the question to ‘If I asked your best friend, what would they say your strengths are?’)

What do they look like in action?

Give an example of when you used them.

How can you use them more?

What would happen if you did?
