This year, around 500,000 pupils across the UK will move to secondary school, half a million pupils! 

And every single one of those pupils, including you, will be feeling a whole range of emotions about the change that is ahead. 

Some of these emotions will be positive, as you look ahead to the exciting adventure that awaits. 

Some of these emotions will be negative emotions, as it can be a big change and maybe you still want to find out more about what will happen. 

And sometimes, we’re not really sure what we feel yet. 

Whether you feel positive, negative, a mixture of emotion, or even if you are not sure yet – that is absolutely okay.
