Employers can find them selves reading hundreds of applications, so unsurprisingly their focus can wander if a CV doesn’t grab them. This is where a little bit of creativity can help to get you noticed.
With a partner or in a small group discuss all of the following questions;
●How could skills and attributes be shown on a CV without listing them?
● In this particular case what else could the CV be other than a document?
● In this particular case how else could information be displayed than using text?
● How could the applicant have shown their knowledge and interest in the business and what the business does?
● What are examples of other small businesses and how could a CV be tailored to match and showcase the skills required for other positions?
