First Day of Primary School! 

Take a moment to have a discussion about your child’s first day of Primary School – what do they remember about that day? Were they excited, were they nervous, did you take them into the classroom and who was the teacher!  

And parents/carers, how did you feel on that day! Were you nervous, or did you dance all the way home to watch the television in peace. 

Once you have discussed the first day, if you have time try to answer the following questions: 

1. Can you name all the teachers, in order from P1 to P7/Reception to Y6? 

2. What has been the highlight of primary for you as a pupil, and for you as a parent?
