Imagine you are working on a class project where you need to build a model of a famous building from your local area. You had a plan and got started, but your model keeps falling apart. The materials you chose are not holding together.
Now imagine you look over and see a classmate’s model standing tall – their materials seem much stronger and their model is working well.
Just like the team at Pixar, you have a choice, give up or adapt.
With your partner or group, discuss:
- What could you change to make your model stronger?
- How could you learn from your classmate’s model without copying it?
If time allows, teachers may choose some pupils to share their thoughts.
