Now that we’ve heard Andrew’s story about adapting to his new role, let’s take a few moments to talk together about a time you have had to adapt.
Turn to a partner, or work in a trio, and discuss the following:
- Can you think of a time when you had to adapt?
(it could be a starting a new school, joining a new class, trying a new way of working, or even learning new rules to a game)
- How did it feel? Was it tricky, exciting, or both?
If time allows, teachers may choose some pupils to share their examples.
