We are beyond delighted and excited to announce that we will be a proud strategic partner of the first ever Fire Up Scotland event, taking place at the SSE Hydro in Glasgow this September.

Fire Up Scotland has joined forces with SEC to create a truly unique learning experience for Scotland’s young people. Think ‘TEDx meets the Fringe’ and you’re halfway there. Now add in a healthy dose of inspirational role models challenging our young people to be the best they can be while proving there is truly no wrong path to a positive destination. Presenters, speakers and performers from across the world of education, business, entertainment, art, sport and culture will gather, all rolled up into a giant fireball of energy creating one enormous, interactive, fully immersive learning experience never to be forgotten… we dare our young people to not be inspired!

Our very own Managing Director and Speaker, Gavin Oattes, has been working on this fantastic project over the last couple of years and we are so proud that he has only gone and filled the SSE Hydro with over 12,000 young people! It’s the biggest event of inspiration to be held in Scotland for over 50 years!

Fire Up Scotland will encourage every single attendee to leave with a roaring fire in their belly and consider just how they harness and share the inspiration created on the day, fuelling the flames for years to come. This event will change lives.

What happens when you FILL the SSE Hydro with 12,000 young people? We can’t wait to find out on the 12th of September.

“In Scotland’s Year of Young People, we wanted to create an unforgettable experience that truly makes a difference. With an extraordinary line up of speakers and artists ready to inspire the next generation we plan to light a fire in the bellies of 12,000 young people that will burn bright for evermore.”
